Biography
2009: Cameron Jost emerged as one of the region’s top quarter milers, recording a 48.21 at the Northridge Invitational...ran his season fastest 200m at the Fresno State dual in 22.46...competed on the 4x400 relay team during the year.
2008: Jost posted his season best 48.68 mark in the 400m in his first place finish at the NCAA Division I Independent Championships...also placed fourth in the 200m in a season best time of 22.34.
LIBERTY HS: Jost came to CSUB from the local Liberty HS where he was a standout in track & field, soccer and football...set a school record time of 49.61 in the 400m...anchored the 4x400m relay team which set a school record with a time of 3:17...was the South East Yosemite League MVP and first team all-area selection in 2007...was named most improved and most inspirational for the Patriots’ soccer team...earned Special Teams Player of the Year and Hit of the Year awards while competing on the football team.
PERSONAL: Jost is a business and economics major at CSUB...also earning a minor in finance...brother Aaron Jost currently plays football at Hamline University in Minn.
