2009: David Charleston had CSUB’s top high jump and triple jump marks in 2009...he cleared 6-6 in the high jump and marked 45-4 in the triple jump at the Fresno State dual...did not compete during the indoor season.
2008: Charleston posted season best marks of 6-4.75 in the high jump, 22-0 in the long jump and 47-3.5 in the triple jump during his freshman year with the Roadrunners.
WEST HS: Charleston had a standout prep career at Bakersfield’s West HS...competing in the high jump, long jump and triple jump, he earned the Southwest Yosemite League MVP honor on two occasions and was a four-time team MVP...four-time league champ in the high jump...three-time league champ in the triple jump...two-time league champ in the long jump...2007 Central Section triple jump champion...tied West High’s record in the high jump (6-10)...also played basketball and football for the Vikings...jumped for the Bakersfield Greyhounds...was the 2006 USA Association champ in the high jump, long jump and triple jump...2006 high jump AAU regional champ...2007 triple jump USA Association champ...2007 high jump and triple jump AAU regional champ...2007 triple jump and long jump California State Games champ.
PERSONAL: Charleston is a mathematics major...also plans to minor in physical education...interests include most sports, drawing, and video games.
