Cara adapted well to her 1st season as a starter, hitting safely in 27 games, including 9 multi-hit games…season-best 3-for-3 in a win over San Bernardino on May 3…enjoyed a solid freshman season in 2005, appearing in 24 games (15 starts) and hitting .280…made 6 starts at third base and 7 starts in the outfield…will play primarily at second this season…had 3 multi–hit games.

High School
Cara was a four–time All–Central Sequoia League selection at San Joaquin Memorial High School…led the Panthers to three CIF Central Section Div. IV Tournament appearances…earned MVP honors while leading SJMHS to the Kerman Tournament title in 2004…hit .500 as a senior.
