Former Roadrunner Reuben Franklin joins the CSUB staff as the Roadrunner director of operations. Franklin graduated from CSU Bakersfield last Spring after earning a degree in biology. Franklin capped off a successful CSUB career by going 30-8 as a senior and qualifying for his first NCAA Division I Championship tournament. He placed second at the Pac-12 Tournament at 197 pounds as a senior and was third at 197 as a junior. Franklin was named Academic All-Conference as a senior. He completed his Roadrunner career with a 74-57 record.

2015-16 (R-SENIOR):

2014-15 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt at CSUB...posted a 18-4 record in open meets...won the Roadrunner Open...finished third at the RTOC...placed seventh at the Midlands Open...came in second at the California Collegiate Open, losing to teammate Matt Williams in the finals.

2013-14 (JUNIOR): Tied with Bryce Hammond (24) for second on the team in victories...posted a 24-18 record with five pins...placed third at the Pac-12 Championships at 197 pounds...was third at the Roadrunner Open and fourth at the San Francisco State U-21 Open at 197.

2012-13 (SOPHOMORE): Concluded season with 14-14 record...was second at the San Francisco State U-21 Open...finished 4-2 at the Roadrunner Open.

2011-12 (FRESHMAN): Went 2-2 at the Roadrunner Open...won first dual start against Menlo before dropping next seven in a row...broke losing streak against American with a 3-2 double overtime victory over Thomas Barreiro...was 2-2 at the California Collegiate Open...finished sixth at the Pac 12 Championships...ended season with a 6-17 record.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Vista Murrieta High School...coach was Jeremy Jarrett... finished fourth in the CIF Tournament at 189 pounds as a senior...selected school's Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2011...selected All-League in 2010 and 2011...team won league titles during junior and senior seasons.

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 6, 1993...son of Edward and Davene Franklin..a biology major.
