Biography

2011 (FRESHMAN): Became an important piece of the CSUB team by playing 40 games, starting 28 of them in her first season as a Roadrunner...Posted 19 hits, scored 12 runs, four RBI, drew seven walks and finished with a .224 batting average...stole two bases on three attempts...mostly played right field but also filled in as a left fielder and also as a pinch runner at times...hit a two-run homer against the University of San Diego on April 17.

2010 (OHLONE COLLEGE): Named to the All-Coast Conference first team and earned all-region honors as a freshman outfielder and a sophomore shortstop at Ohlone College...led the Renegades to a pair of conference titles...hit .403 with 12 extra base hits and 39 runs scored as a sophomore...also stole 21 bases in 2010...hit .361 as a freshman in 2009, adding 15 extra base hits including four home runs...played with Roadrunner teammate Jamie Miller at Ohlone in 2009.


HIGH SCHOOL:
Ashley prepped at Kennedy High School in Fremont where she was a three-time All-Mission Valley Athletic League pick and a three-time team MVP for the Titans...also earned team MVP honors playing volleyball at Kennedy and was a defensive MVP for the Titan basketball team.


PERSONAL: Born April 16, 1990...Majoring in liberal studies at CSUB with minor in physical education and kinesiology...Career goal is to becoming an elementary school teacher...earned her associate's degree in liberal arts at Ohlone...lists rebuilding cars among her hobbies.
