Biography


Ohlone College: The Roadrunner lineup received a high octane boost with the signing of Ohlone College transfer Jamie Miller…led California with 37 stolen bases as a sophomore in 2009, earning the Golden Shoe Award from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association…scored 46 runs with 50 hits in 49 games last season…added 23 RBIs and a .433 on base percentage…hit .338 with eight doubles and two triples…defensively, Jamie was a slick–fielding shortstop for the Renegades…helped Ohlone reach the California Junior College final four in 2009…earned All–State (NorCal) honors and was named to the state championship all–tournament team.

High School: Jamie was a four–year All–East Bay Athletic League selection at Granada High School, hitting .356 while scoring 26 runs in 28 games as a senior in 2007…led the Matadors with a .427 on base percentage and a .478 slugging percentage…also played volleyball and basketball as a prep athlete.

Personal: Jamie is majoring in business administration with an emphasis in accounting at CSUB…will celebrate her 21st birthday two days after the ’Runners play their season final against Saint Mary’s College…made the Bay Area Top 100 High School Athletes list.
