Biography

2011 (JUNIOR): Played in 14 games in her first season with CSUB, starting 13 of them as CSUB's backup catcher...hit .250 in the season with 10 hits, including two home runs and two doubles....scored four runs, while driving in seven runs...her first home run as a Roadrunner came in the form of a grand slam against UC Riverside on April 6...one of seven 'Runners named to the PCSC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.37 GPA.


SAN JOSE CITY COLLEGE (2009-10): Earned first team All-Coast Conference honors both seasons at San Jose CC...hit .319 as a sophomore and .308 freshman, leading the Jaguars to Coast Conference titles both seasons...was a teammate of Roadrunner pitcher Alyssa Walker at SJCC.

HIGH SCHOOL: Tera played two seasons of varsity softball at Los Banos High School, earned second team All-Central California  recognition as a senior in 2008...named the Tigers' Best Defensive Player that season...also played volleyball at Los Banos.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 5, 1990. Majoring in business administration with an emphasis in accounting at CSUB...is an excellent student who was named an NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete for 2010...earned scholar-athlete honors (3.5+ GPA) all four years at LBHS...earned Henry Miller, Soroptimist and Sam Cook Memorial scholarships...graduated from San Jose CC with an associates degree in liberal arts...is married to Joseph Macias...maiden name is Tera Ray Vermillion.
