2012-13 (JUNIOR): Swam primarily in the 200 free and 200 IM...posted season best time in the 200 free (1:43.33) at the UNLV dual...won the 200 IM at the California dual...turned in season best time (1:54.38) in the 200 IM during the preliminaries of the MPSF Championships...placed 17th in the 400 IM at the league meet in a season best time of 4:02.30...was third in the 200 breaststroke at the California dual.

2011-12 (SOPHOMORE): Reset the the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference record in the 400 IM at the 2012 PCAC Championships...was the runner-up in the 400 IM at the CCCAA State Championships...finished fourth in the 1650 free and ninth in the 200 IM at the state meet...earned a total of 14 CCCAA All-American certificates during junior college career...named team MVP and left program with three school records (400 IM, 400 medley relay, and 800 medley relay)...earned AA in general studies from Grossmont.

2010-11 (FRESHMAN): Named the 2011 Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Year at Grossmont College after winning the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 1650 free (in all new conference records)...team won PCAC Championship...was the  runner-up in the 1650 at the CCCAA State Championshipos...finished fifth in the 400 IM, and 10th in the 200 IM at the state meet.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Indooroopilly State High School.

PERSONAL: Born Mar. 19, 1992...son of Duncan Armstrong and Tami Bruce...a managment major....both parents competed for the University of Florida in swimming...both qualified for the 1988 Olympics in swimming, Duncan for Australia, Tami for the United States.
