Biography
2010-11 (JUNIOR): Swam a limited schedule competing in only six individual races… finished third in the 400 IM against Arizona State (Nov. 12).
2009-10 (SOPHOMORE): The Roadrunners’ top distance freestyle swimmer…team leading times of 9:47.34 in the 1,000 free and 16:19.24 in the 1,650 free were attained at the Conference USA Championships…also swam a career best 4:41.62 in the 500 free at the C-USA Championships…other top times were 1:50.21 in the 200 free, 1:01.63 in the 100 back, 2:09.71 in the 200 back and 2:10.24 in the 200 fly.
2008-09 (FRESHMAN): Recorded season best marks of 1:46.94 in the 200 free, 4:42.08 in the 500 free, 9:51.59 in the 1,000 free, 16:20.45 in the 1,650 free, 1:02.58 in the 100 back, 2:09.55 in the 200 back, 2:04.79 in the 200 fly and 4:20.13 in the 400 IM.
HIGH SCHOOL: Hails from Granite Bay High School where he helped lead the Grizzlies to four Sierra Foothill League titles...team won the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section title in 2006...also participated in water polo and martial arts at Granite Bay.
PERSONAL: Born Apr. 10, 1990...son of Tim and Adela Klagge...an art major.
