2014-15 (SENIOR): Competed in all freestyle races except 50 free as well as 100 breaststroke…Posted two 11th-place finishes at WAC Championship in 1650 free (15:53.43) and 500 free (4:28.91), both season-best times…Finished 17th in finals at WAC meet in 200 free with season-low time of 1:39.35…Finished second in Cal Baptist duel in 100 breast with time of 1:01.55…Earned Top 3 finish four times through season.

2013-14 (JUNIOR): Competed primarily in the distance freestyle events, but had success in the 200 individual medley as well…Placed in the top 5 of various events in seven different meets and duals including a first-place finish in the 200 IM against Cal...Finished 20th in the finals of the WAC Championship in the 500 free and 10th in the 1650 free, posting season bests in both races…Season best in the 200 free (1:41.68) was recorded in the WAC Championship preliminaries.

2012-13 (SOPHOMORE): Competed primarily in the distance freestyle events...Scored in the 1650 (14th) at the MPSF Championships...Was third in the 500 free in the UNLV dual and was fourth in the 1000 free during the Arizona State dual...Finished sixth in the 200 free at the California dual...A part of the 800 free relay that lowered the school record in the event to 6:32.06 while placing third in the 800 free relay at the MPSF’s.

2011-12 (FRESHMAN): Raced in freestyle events ranging in length from 100 to 1650...Season best in the 200 free (1:42.40) came during the MPSF preliminaries....Was 10th in the 1650 free at the MPSF’s.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of La Serna High School...Coach was Todd Jacobsen...Helped lead the Lancers to four Del Rio League Championships…Served as the team captain as a senior and was named first team Whittier Daily News Boys Swim Team...Attended Fullerton College during the 2010-11 school year but did not compete in any sports.

PERSONAL: Born Feb. 21, 1992...Son of Michael and Diane Cassidy...Married to Kate Cassidy...A kinesiology major also earning a minor in writing…Plans to be a physical therapist after his time at CSUB.
