Biography
2012-13 (JUNIOR): Paced team with 475 kills for an average of 4.13 per set...was second on the team in aces with 28 and in digs with 245, while also adding 73 total blocks (which was third best on the squad) and 24 assists....posted numerous double-doubles on the season...named the MVP of CSUB's Roadrunner Classic after getting all of the No. 1 votes by the coaches in the tournament...led CSUB with 544.5 points...CSUB SAND VOLLEYBALL: Played primarily in the No. 1 doubles slot with Yuan Fu...posted a 5-15 record.
2010-11 (FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORE): Helped Western Nebraska Community College win the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I championship in 2010...squad won regional titles in 2010 and 2011...named a member of the 2010 NJCAA all-tournament team in 2010 and 2011...finished sophomore season ranked No. 9 in Division I NCJAA in kills with 488...a second-Team All-American as a freshman and then was named as a first-team All-American as a sophomore...played with fellow Roadrunners Fernando Goncalves and Danika Youngblood at Western Nebraska.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Polimig, Escola Politécnica de Minas Gerias before graduating in 2009.
PERSONAL: Born Dec. 23, 1991...daughter of Eureni Araujo and Amador Filho...a physical education major.
