Saldana pitched in all three games over the weekend, holding a top four Big West offense to just two runs and a batting average of .222. Saldana started game one, throwing a complete game and striking out three batters en route to the victory and held them to just two runs. Saldana finished the weekend with an impressive ERA of 1.11 and walking just one batter over her three appearances.
The Wasco, California native becomes the first to win this accolade since February of 2025, and the first Roadrunner to win a weekly award this season. Saldana will look to continue her success in conference play as she lowered her ERA to 2.73 so far through conference play.
