BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Roadrunners competed in the MSU SoCal Spring Invitational at Sterling Hills GC in Camarillo, California hosted by Morehead State. Bakersfield took fourth place, their highest placement ever in a stacked field that featured Nebraska, Notre Dame, CSUN, and more.

CSUB entered the MSU SoCal Spring Invitational ranked 180th in the country, and have risen four spots in the national rankings following their performance this weekend. The Roadrunners beat out #145 North Dakota State, #159 Memphis, #162 South Dakota, and #166 Morehead State. Bakersfield finished the first round in second place, trailing only Nebraska by five strokes, CSUB's best round came in the third and final round, shooting a 295 (+11) as a team.

Both Iris Han and Sarah Mutai logged top 10 finishes once again, both scoring 6-over-par and tying for 10th on the individual leaderboard. Mutai now has six top 10 finishes on the year while Han has four.
