BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Cal State Bakersfield wrestling team earned its first shutout victory in 11 seasons with a 53-0 win over Westcliff on Sunday. Hundreds of Roadrunner fans came out to support CSUB for its annual Feud on the Field event and the home team showed out on the Main Soccer Field.

CSUB came up just 7 points shy of the maximum possible, earning bonus points at all 10 weight classes. Five `Runners earned pins, headlined by Coen Quintana's fall just 32 seconds into the 165-pound bout. All of the final results are listed below:

• Hayden Zinkin (149) won by fall
• Devyn Flores-Che (157) won by tech fall

• Jeremy Manibog (184) won by major decision
• Chris Neal (197) won by fall
• Mason Cover (285) won by fall

The `Runners celebrated the careers of six seniors prior to the match and welcomed dozens of alumni to the mat during the halftime break. It was an outstanding day in the Bakersfield sun as CSUB closed its home slate with its first shutout win since defeating Grand Canyon 43-0 during the 2014-15 season.
