Leadership Transition Announced for CSUB Swimming & Diving

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Cal State Bakersfield Athletics Department has announced that Eric Bugby, Director of Swimming and Diving for the Roadrunners, has stepped down from his post, effective immediately.

CSUB Acting Director of Athletics Dr. Sarah Tuohy will begin a search for the next coach of the men's and women's swimming and diving program immediately.

"As we prepare for the upcoming season, our commitment to our Roadrunner swimmers and divers remains unwavering," Tuohy said. "Our Athletics Department is working quickly to secure strong leadership that will guide the team to success this year and beyond."

The CSUB swimming and diving program has postponed its season-opening dual meet against the University of the Pacific, which was scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1.
