Lindsey, a healthcare professional with over two decades of diverse experience in sports medicine and athletic health care, returns to CSUB with deep familiarity and a proven commitment to the `Runner community.

"We're excited to welcome Jason to the CSUB Athletics family," Tuohy said. "His extensive experience, leadership, and deep connections within the Bakersfield community make him an ideal fit for our department. Jason understands what it means to be a part of the Roadrunner family, and his passion for serving student-athletes aligns perfectly with our mission and values."

Lindsey previously served as an athletic trainer at CSUB from 2013 to 2016, working as the primary athletic trainer for women's soccer, men's basketball, and softball. In addition to his prior work at CSUB, Lindsey has held leadership roles in athletic training across a variety of professional, collegiate, and high school settings. Most recently, he spent the last three years as a Site Safety Manager with Amazon. Lindsey also previously served as Lead Athletic Trainer at TERRIO Therapy Fitness, where he oversaw a team of athletic trainers, managed contracts with local schools, and developed performance and occupational health testing programs.

Tuohy went on to comment on the importance of Lindsey's appointment and oversight of a critical branch of the CSUB Athletics Department: "Our sports medicine team is vital to the health, safety, and success of our student-athletes, and Jason's leadership will help elevate that standard across all programs.
