D'Arcy Lands Second MPSF Swimming Honor

Bakersfield Junior Sets Four School Records & Posts Three MPSF Season-Best Times at Dixie State Invitational

Bakersfield, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield junior Autumn D'Arcy was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Women's Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season, after winning three events and setting four school records at the Dixie State Invitational this past weekend in St. George, Utah.

"Watching everything come together for Autumn in her final season at CSUB has been amazing," said CSUB Director of Swimming Chris Hansen. "Her training, her racing and her ambition have all been superb and led her to some fantastic results."

D'Arcy captured event titles in the 100 Butterfly (52.13), the 200 Butterfly (1:58.44) and the 200 Individual Medley (1:59.77), posting MPSF, season-best times in each event. The Redlands, Calif., native also earned NCAA 'B' Cuts with her times in the 100 Fly and the 200 IM.

D'Arcy's new personal best time in the 100 Fly (52.13) has never not been invited to compete at the NCAA Championships.

Her three individual victories give her 11 for the season and 57 for her Bakersfield career, just three shy of matching the school's Division I era record held by Paola Hernandez.

D'Arcy's fourth school record came during the prelims of the 100 Backstroke (55.16). She added a time of 55.76 in the finals to take third in the event.

She was also named MPSF Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 3, when she won three individual titles in the Roadrunners' dual meet victory over Pomona-Pitzer.

D'Arcy won five Western Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week awards and was the WAC's 2020 Female Swimmer of the Year.
