Rachmadya Leads Bakersfield on Day 2 of Aggie Invite

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – After 36 holes of competition, Gillian Galicia still leads the CSU Bakersfield golf team, but fellow Roadrunner Aufa Rachmadya paced the squad on Tuesday morning with a team-low 80 in Round 2.

Rachmadya, who hails from Jakarta, Indonesia, improved one stroke from Round 1 to Round 2 and wrapped up Day 2 of the Aggie Invitational with 161 strokes (+17). After carding a career round on Monday, Galicia followed that up with an 82 and sits at 160 strokes on the tournament.

Jefi Dordevic posted an 86 on Tuesday while Christy Mae Saban equaled her first-round result with another 89. Dordevic has taken 166 strokes thus far while Saban sits at 178 through two rounds.

As a team, Bakersfield concluded Round 2 of the Aggie Invite in 20th place with a total of 665 strokes (+89).

The `Runners will play one final round at the NMSU Golf Course on Wednesday. The final 18 holes of golf will begin with another shotgun start scheduled for 7:30 a.m. (PT) in Las Cruces.
