"Overall the day was good," said head coach Cesar Benatti.  We could see an improvement in our team compared to last week even though the results were not in our favor.  The strategy was to play aggressive and some mistakes come with the risks we are taking.  We need to work on being more consistent with those good moments to be able to pulls better results.  I think we're on the right path to do that."

CSUB (3-5) will head to the Big West Challenge next weekend to play five conference opponents.  The `Runners will take on the University of Hawaii, Sacramento State and CSUN on Friday, before meeting Long Beach State and Cal Poly on Saturday.
