PISMO BEACH, Calif.—CSU Bakersfield defeated Cal Poly 3-2 in the regular season beach volleyball finale for both squads Friday afternoon.

The Mustangs (5-10) won both first flight matches to earn a 2-0 lead.  The Roadrunners won all three matches during the first flight to take the dual. Winning at No. 1 for CSUB were Sydney Haynes and Carol Grasso while at No. 2 Edithza Urias and Jocelyn Rodriguez were victorious. Earning the win at No. 3 for the 'Runners were Sophie Flemion and Kelsee Sawyer.

The Roadrunners (4-12) will take part in the first Big West Beach Volleyball Tournament Apr. 29-30 in Huntington Beach.
