TUCSON, Ariz.—The CSU Bakersfield beach volleyball team fell 4-1 to the University of New Mexico in the final dual of the University of Arizona Wildcat Spring Challenge Saturday morning.

The lone CSUB victory came at #1, where the 'Runner duo of Sydney Haynes and Carol Grasso defeated the Lobos' Cassie House and Ashley Kelsey in straight sets. New Mexico won at No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 each by a 2-0 count.

The Roadrunners (2-7) head to the Pepperdine Zuma Classic next weekend where CSUB will play No. 1 Pepperdine, have a rematch against No. 7 Arizona (both on Saturday) and face Loyola Marymount (Sunday).
