WAC To Stream Swimming & Diving Championships

DENVER, Colo. –The Western Athletic Conference, in conjunction with its Web site partner NeuLion, has announced it will stream the finals of all four nights of the 2014 WAC Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, Feb. 26-Mar. 1. Viewers can sign up by visiting www.WACSports.tv.
 
The WAC will be providing an upgraded online broadcast of the championships with a dedicated announcer, multiple cameras, adaptive streaming and other additional content during the week.  This year, besides being available on PCs, the stream will also be accessible with an iPad.
 
The championships will be held at the Palo Alto College Aquatic Center in San Antonio, Texas.  The WAC added men's swimming and diving this year for the first time since the 1999-2000 season.  A total of eight women's teams (Bakersfield, Grand Canyon, Idaho, New Mexico State, North Dakota, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado and Seattle U) will be joined by seven men's teams (Air Force, Bakersfield, Grand Canyon, UNLV, North Dakota, Seattle U and Wyoming).
 
Finals begin Wednesday, Feb. 26, with the 200-yard medley relays, men's 3-meter diving, women's 1-meter diving and the 800 freestyle relays.  The meet continues over a total of four nights.  Each of those nights can be viewed for a subscription of $6.95 or a full championship package can be purchased for $10.95.  Finals begin at 6:00 p.m. CT on all four nights.
