BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--The Bakersfield cross country team heads to the Mustang Challenge, hosted by The Master's College in Santa Clarita. The gun goes off at 8:15 a.m. Saturday.
Teams entered in the meet include; Arizona Christian, Bakersfield, Cal State Fullerton, Cal Lutheran, Cal State San Marcos, College of the Canyons, Concordia-Irvine, Embry-Riddle (Ariz.), Fresno Pacific, Glendale College, Hope International, LA Trade Tech, Loyola Marymount, Notre Dame de Namur, Providence Christian, San Diego Christian, SOKA University, The Master's College, UC Irvine, UCLA, and Westmont College.
"We are trying to build on each race," said Bakersfield director of track and field/cross country Marcia Mansur-Wentworth. "With a young team we try to keep everything positive and build toward the WAC Championship as well as work toward the future of the program."
