MONTEREY
BAY, Calif. - Roadrunner freshman Jordanne Barr is tied for sixth
place heading into Tuesday's final round of the Monterey Bay Invitational
to lead the CSU Bakersfield women's golf team.
After
carding an 84 on Sunday at Del Monte Golf Club, Barr shaved six strokes
off of her score in Monday's second round to move up the leaderboard to be tied
at sixth at 19-over 163.
The
final 18 holes of the tournament will be held on Tuesday. As a team, the
Roadrunners are in fourth place in the six-team field with a 671. Northern
Colorado is in first place with a 644.
Junior Malea
Miller (Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield College) is tied for 14th
place with a 20-over 164 (81-83), while sophomore Lauren
Holbrook (Bakersfield, Calif., Liberty HS) is tied for 21st at
21-over 169 (81-88) and freshman Michelle
Martel (Bakersfield, Calif., Frontier HS) carded a 29-over 173 (89-84).
Northern
Colorado's Carleigh Silvers is in the lead individually with an 8-over 152 (79-73).
