PARK CITY, Utah--Dylan Lym's (Jr., Evanston, Wyo., Evanston HS) career best-69 led Bakersfield on day two of the Utah Invitational. Lym's score was two under par on the Jeremy Golf and Country Club.
Lym would conclude the tournament with a 54-hole total of 227 tying him with UTEP's Ian Patterson for 38th. Freshman Trevor Stan (Mission Viejo, Calif., Bakersfield Liberty HS) was the top finishing 'Runner as he placed 37th (226).
Jin Park (R-Jr., Burbank, Calif., Glendale CC) was 51st (233). Brett Kettler (R-Fr., Bakersfield, Calif., Liberty HS) tied for 52nd (234) with two others. Matthew Deford (Jr., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield College) finished 61st (248) while Nicolas Browning (So., Bakersfield, Calif., Independence HS) placed 62nd (250). Seokwon Jeon of Utah State and Ty Travis of Boise State tied for first (206) with Jeon winning a two-hole playoff to take the medalist honors. As a team, Bakersfield finished ninth (1167). Boise State (1076) took home team honors.
The Roadrunners are next in action Oct. 21-22 when Bakersfield concludes the Fall slate at the Cal State Northridge Invitational.
