ARROYO GRANDE, Calif.--Malea Miller's (Sr., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield College) 77 led the Bakersfield women's golf program at the Firestone Grill Cal Poly Invitational Oct. 28.

Miller's four-over par has her in a tie for 12th with two other players. Annie Freman of Santa Clara, Alex Phillips of Cal Poly, and Jamie Corr of Cal Poly all shot an even-par 73 to lead the individual race.

Jordanne Barr (So., Bakersfield, Calif., Frontier HS) shot 80 and is tied for 20th with five other players. Micah Lopez (Jr., Bakersfield, Calif., East Bakersfield HS) is tied for 46th with four others (84). Michelle Martel (So., Bakersfield, Calif., Frontier HS) is tied for 63rd (91) with Dixie State's Madalynne Fedoruk. Chandler Bullman (Fr., Bakersfield, Calif., Frontier HS) is 65th (93).

The Roadrunners are 11th (332) after day one in the team race. Cal Poly "A" shot 310 to take the lead.

The tournament concludes with a single round of 18 Tuesday at the Cypress Ridge Country Club. Play begins at 8:30 a.m.
