Bakersfield, Calif- CSU Bakersfield student-athletes, coaches and staff have embarked on a community-service based mission this academic year known as 'Project 3,000.' The concept is simple, the Roadrunners will volunteer 3,000 hours this year and give back to the community they represent.

With successful projects at Ronald McDonald House, Rosewood Retirement Community and Friendship House just to name a few, CSUB student-athletes are well on their way to accomplishing this lofty yet fulfilling goal.
