Men's Golf Finishes Fourth at Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The CSUB men's golf team finished fourth in the final round of the Fossum Invitational on Sunday at the Forest Akers West Golf Course. The Roadrunners shot 305 on the day. USC Upstate's Josh Gallman won the event with three rounds of two-under 70. Host Michigan State tied for the team title with Ferris State at +15 for the tournament.

Junior Levi Garcia was CSUB's top finisher, tying for fifth place after a third round of four-over 74. Classmate James Moseley finished in a tie for ninth, one shot behind Garcia, shooting a 77. Both Moseley and Garcia were at even par prior to the third round. Junior Kyle Morrison shot the low round of 74 and tied for 17th overall. Sophomore Jason Errecart shot a 78 to tie for 30th and freshman Matt Hammons finished 36th with a final round of 80. Playing as an individual, junior Kirk Harper shot a final round 86 to tie for 44th.

This concludes the Roadrunners' 2010 spring schedule.
