CSUB to Host Elco Inc., Intercollegiate at Seven Oaks CC

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The CSUB men's golf team will host the Elco Inc., Intercollegiate Monday through Tuesday at Seven Oaks Country Club in Bakersfield. There will be 19 teams in attendance for the two day tournament. Play will begin at 7:30 a.m. on both days as teams will play 36 holes on Monday followed by 18 more on Tuesday.

“Our team is coming off a strong performance in San Diego earlier this week,” Head Coach Dave Barber said. “The guys are pumped up to be playing at home and w are looking for some good scores. We dealt with some really bad weather last week and we still performed well. We had a couple of players in the top five so we are looking for some strong performances at home.”

The Elco Inc. Intercollegiate will include 100 entrants with a couple of individual competitors from non competing teams to attend.

This will be the only home event that CSUB will host this season.
