STANFORD, Calif. ? A pair of wins each by five Roadrunner wrestlers helped CSUB to a pair of dual victories Saturday at the Stanford Duals. Bakersfield opened competition with a 33-9 rout of Drexel and later claimed a 26-15 win over Columbia to improve to 7-3 on the season.

Against Drexel, the Roadrunners won eight of 10 bouts including a pair of falls by Calvin Miller at 149 and Joey Granata at 165. Granata's pin of the Dragons' Scott Hunter was his team-leading eighth of the season. The CSUB junior has been perfect in matches by fall this season, 8-0.

Frank Lomas, Elijah Nactia and Trevor Hall claimed shutout major decisions at 125, 141 and 157, respectively, for three more ?Runner wins. Thomas Kimbrell earned an 8-4 decision over Frank Cimato at 133, Jason Points won 6-0 over Brian Stouffer at 174 and Riley Orozco topped Justin Wieller, 5-0, at 184.

Drexel won the final two weights, with No. 11 nationally ranked Jon Oplinger pinning Ernesto Ancona in 3:19 at 197 and Kyle Frey earning a 7-6 decision over David Morgan at heavyweight.

Kimbrell, Nacita, Miller, Granata and Orozco picked up their second wins of the day in the nightcap dual against Columbia, helping the ?Runners to the 11-point win. Bakersfield's sixth win against the Lions was a forfeit at 174.

The Roadrunners return to Pac-10 action Jan. 18, traveling to Idaho for a 7 p.m. start against Boise State. Bakersfield returns to the Icardo Center Jan. 23 for a 7 p.m. dual against UC Davis.
