Biography

2013-14 (R-JUNIOR): Lost dual opener to Cal Poly’s Brittain Longmire...was 3-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions at 125...moved to 133 for the Menlo dual and recorded a technical fall for the victory...was 1-2 at the California Collegiate Open...posted a 5-5 record.

2012-13 (R-SOPHOMORE): Was 1-2 in limited action for Indiana University.

2011-12 (R-FRESHMAN): Started all 19 duals for Indiana University...went 12-16 with two major decisions and two tech falls ...began the season with five consecutive victories, including a 3-0 mark at the Indiana Quad...advanced to the quarterfinals of the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational with a pair of victories.

2010-11 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt at Indiana University...finished second at the Cleveland State and Greyhound Opens wrestling unattached...was 12-6 with three pins.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Clovis West High School...coaches were Brad Zimmer and Ian Shaw...a three-time state qualifier and a two-time California state finalist...led Clovis West High School to three top-10 finishes in the state...earned six All-America honors, highlighted by a second place finish in the 2008 Greco Nationals and fifth place showing in the 2007 Freestyle Nationals.

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 24, 1991...son of Brad and Kathy Zimmer...a kinesology major...father Brad wrestled at Cal Poly and Fresno State.
