SCHOOL: Graduated from Perris in 2011 and competed for the track and field team
under for coach Troy Stenlake…Advanced to the finals of the triple jump at the
CIF state meet and also competed in the long jump at the meet his senior
season…Took second place in the Sunbelt League in the triple jump and third in
the long jump in his senior year…Was honored with the co-senior award and is in
the top 10 in the Perris record books for triple jump…Also played football for
the Panthers.
PERSONAL:
Born on Feb. 13, 1993 in Los Angeles…Plans on majoring in general engineering
with a minor in business….Hopes to run his own engineering business and give
back to his community after his time at CSUB…Son of Payton Stephen and Carolyn
Fuqua…Cousin to NBA star Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder…Hobbies
include doing community service, playing video games, being around family and friends,
and he loves math.
