Cecilia Lopez won her section of the 800 (2:22.28) at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif. (4–16–10)...ran a season–best 2:21.16 in the 800 at the Tommie Lister Invitational (4–24–10).

Lopez was voted the cross country team MVP...maintained a 4.0 GPA.

Lopez is a criminal justice major at CSUB...plans to pursue a minor in political science...would like to attend law school upon graduation...parents are Jose and Ernestina Lopez.
