Big West Announces Spring All-Academic Selections

Big West Spring All-Academic Release

IRVINE, Calif. – The Big West announced its Spring Academic All-Conference selections on Friday, recognizing 741 student-athletes across 11 sports who maintained at least a 3.00 institutional GPA while competing in fifty percent of their team's contests. Fourty-eight California State University, Bakersfield student-athletes were honored by the conference for their accomplishments in competition and in the classroom.

In total, 184 CSUB student-athletes earned GPAs of 3.00 or better during the spring semester with ten individual programs posting 3.00-plus cumulative GPAs. The Roadrunners posted a record-setting 3.25 department-wide cumulative GPA. Individually, 26 `Runners registered perfect 4.00 GPAs for the Spring 2022 semester.
